FILTER's RICHARD PATRICK: 'Alive And Kicking'

FILTER frontman Richard Patrick has posted a message on their official site revealing that his recent spell in rehab was "the best thing that has ever happened" to him. The message runs as follows:

"Hi, this is Richard again, I'm alive and kicking! Rehab was the best thing that ever happened to me, my mind is clear, my body is fit and I feel great. Thank you for all your love and support, I definitely felt it over the last 45 days. I can't tell you how great I feel. Rehab has made me rethink everything in my life. Now that I'm not wasting time on getting f**ked up, I'll be able to devote more energy toward creating my music. I'll tell you right now that I have big plans for FILTER and many other new musical projects that I have going on in my life. I'm so proud of this band and what we've accomplished, even when I was f**ked up, but now that I'm straight there's no telling what we can do. So I know this might sound like a cliché letter from rehab, but because I've never said it, it's not cliché to me. So thanks for being there and supporting me through this, I'll write again soon!
